Eucalyptus VesselPosted on July 29, 2010David describes a hollow vessel that he turned from curly eucalyptus and how he created a harlequin pattern on the surface using a liquid frisket (sign painters mask) to control the design. The diamond patterns are gilded with silver leaf and copper leaf and treated with various chemicals to create a patina.
